Services Provided: Paxton Waters: Master Planning, Land Designer, Project Manager Andy Gerdom: Civil Engineering Team
The site was 1600 acres of desert. Mr. Waters' task was not only to design a super speedway, but to master plan a site that would include over 12 different racing venues and a 200-acre industrial park. The super speedway was dug out of the hillside, which created a grandstand viewing area where two-thirds of the seats are below the entry elevation.
